Mixit travelled north for glasgow last week to perform to a sell out audience at the national piping centre rite in the heart of the city.
"It was an amazing show and the crowd where out of this world" Craig and Matt Millward said in a recent interview. "We haven't gigged much in Scotland before so it was great to perform for crowds that might not have seen us before or heard us, but it was great to be able to perform for our fans who would normally travel to see us. It was nice to be able to come to them."
Mixit where supported by the fantastic local band "The Superheros" who got the night off to a good start with a 20 minute set.
Mixit came out to perform a 45 minute set full of their usual bouncy numbers with a few new ones in there also. The group blasted onto stage with the take of the classic "we will rock you" followed by the much loved "sun goes down". They than climaxed with TakeThat's "never" to the sound of rapturous applause and crys for more. Mixit came on for an encore of another TakeThat song and one of the groups favourite songs "greatest day". The audience erupted into cheers as Mixit took their final bow to their usual walk off theme of "absolutley everybody" in which the audience burst into dance in the auditorium. Mixit came out after the show to meet the fans and was mobbed by the crowd for signings of their merchandise.
A great night was had by all!!! Mixt love Glasgow!!!!
